Head of IT Infrastructure

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Head of IT Infrastructure to lead our organization's technological operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's IT infrastructure, ensuring that it aligns with business objectives and supports overall efficiency. The Head of IT Infrastructure will lead a team of skilled professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operation of all network systems, servers, and storage solutions. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of current IT trends and technologies. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex infrastructure projects, driving innovation, and enhancing overall IT performance.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing IT infrastructure strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure the organization's technology needs are met.
• Overseeing and managing the IT infrastructure team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
• Planning and overseeing the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, network, and telecommunications systems.
• Managing and monitoring the organization's data centers, servers, storage systems, and virtualized environments.
• Ensuring compliance with security standards and protocols to protect the organization's data and systems from potential threats.
• Collaborating with other departments to assess technology needs and develop solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Budgeting and forecasting for IT infrastructure projects and initiatives to support the organization's strategic goals.
• Evaluating new technologies and tools to enhance the organization's IT infrastructure capabilities.
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with vendors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure quality and cost-effective IT infrastructure solutions.
• Providing technical guidance and support to internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and troubleshooting of IT infrastructure issues.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure management.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CCNP, or ITIL.
• Strong leadership and strategic planning skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
