Head of Finance

The Head of Finance is responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the organization, including financial planning, reporting, and analysis. This senior leadership role involves guiding the financial strategy, ensuring compliance with regulations, and optimizing financial performance in alignment with the company’s objectives. Operating in the UAE’s business landscape, the Head of Finance will work closely with executive leadership and departments to provide strategic insights, drive cost efficiency, and manage risks while ensuring adherence to local tax and financial regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Developing and implementing financial strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure the effective management of the organization’s finances.

• Overseeing the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

• Managing budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling processes to support organizational goals and operational efficiency.

• Providing strategic financial guidance to executive leadership and department heads to drive profitability and cost savings.

• Ensuring compliance with UAE financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting standards.

• Leading the treasury function, managing cash flow, liquidity, and financial risk.

• Overseeing audits, financial controls, and risk management strategies to safeguard the organization’s assets.

• Managing the finance team, providing leadership, training, and mentoring to ensure high performance and professional development.

• Collaborating with external auditors, regulators, and stakeholders to ensure the integrity of financial operations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance and accounting, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

• Extensive experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting in the UAE or GCC region.

• Strong knowledge of UAE tax laws, financial regulations, and compliance standards.

• Proven track record of managing financial operations, including risk management, audits, and treasury functions.

• Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to guide and inspire a diverse finance team.

• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in financial software.

• Strong business acumen with the ability to drive financial performance in alignment with organizational objectives.
