Job Description

The Head of Commercial Services is responsible for overseeing all commercial activities within the organization. They develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth, enhance customer satisfaction, and maximize profitability. The Head of Commercial Services leads and manages a team to achieve sales targets, negotiate contracts, build strong customer relationships, and identify new business opportunities.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute commercial strategies to achieve organizational goals and revenue targets.
  • Lead and manage a team of sales and account managers to drive sales performance.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand the organization's customer base.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and strategic partners.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and operations, to support sales activities and drive customer satisfaction.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
  • Monitor market and industry trends to identify potential risks and opportunities.
  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to inform decision-making and business strategy.
  • Oversee pricing strategies and ensure competitive pricing for products or services.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge and understanding of the organization's products or services.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in commercial or sales management, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Strategic thinking and ability to drive revenue growth.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address commercial challenges.
  • Strong customer focus and ability to build long-lasting relationships.
  • Proficient in using CRM systems and sales forecasting tools.
  • Advanced knowledge of industry-specific regulations and market trends.
