Job Description

The General Manager Sales-Diesel Generators is responsible for overseeing the sales activities of diesel generators in a company. They develop strategies, set goals, and ensure the achievement of sales targets. They analyze market trends and identify new business opportunities. The General Manager Sales-Diesel Generators also maintain relationships with clients and resolve any issues. They lead and train the sales team to maximize productivity and generate revenue. Additionally, they provide regular reports on sales performance and market conditions to senior management.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth and achieve sales targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing solutions.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to develop effective sales strategies.
  • Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team sales objectives.
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote diesel generators.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and reports for senior management.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide training and coaching to enhance the sales team's skills.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the diesel generators industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of the diesel generators market and industry trends.
