Job Description
The ERP Specialist - Supply Chain Management is responsible for managing and optimizing the organization's supply chain processes through the implementation and maintenance of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. This includes overseeing the integration of the ERP system with various supply chain functions such as procurement, inventory management, and logistics. The Specialist will also collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and ensure the effective utilization of the ERP system to achieve supply chain objectives.
Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain the ERP system to support supply chain processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document supply chain requirements.
- Customize and configure the ERP system to meet supply chain needs.
- Ensure the integration of the ERP system with procurement, inventory, and logistics functions.
- Train and support end users in utilizing the ERP system for supply chain activities.
- Monitor and analyze supply chain data to identify areas for improvement.
- Identify and resolve ERP system issues and discrepancies related to supply chain processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement supply chain strategies.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance with supply chain policies.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in ERP and supply chain management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, information systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience in implementing and managing ERP systems in a supply chain environment.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain processes and best practices.
- Proficient in ERP software, preferably with experience in supply chain modules.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
