English Teachers ( Secondary )

The Secondary English Teacher is responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive English language and literature instruction to students in grades 6–12. Based in a UAE educational institution, the teacher will create dynamic lesson plans, assess student progress, and foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment. The role requires a deep understanding of curriculum standards, effective classroom management, and a commitment to academic excellence and student development.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and implementing English lessons aligned with curriculum guidelines and learning objectives.

• Teaching grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing, and literary analysis to secondary-level students.

• Assessing student performance through assignments, tests, and formal examinations, providing constructive feedback.

• Creating a positive and interactive classroom environment that supports learning and student engagement.

• Using technology and diverse instructional methods to enhance learning outcomes.

• Supporting students in developing critical thinking, communication, and analytical skills.

• Participating in school activities, parent meetings, and professional development programs.

• Maintaining accurate student records and preparing progress reports as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field; a teaching qualification such as PGCE or B.Ed is mandatory.

• Minimum 3 years of teaching experience at the secondary level, preferably within the UAE or an international curriculum setting.

• Familiarity with British, American, or IB curriculum standards.

• Excellent classroom management and lesson planning skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.

• Proficiency in using educational technology and online learning platforms.

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
