Electrical Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee and manage electrical maintenance operations within a hospital setting in the UAE. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in electrical maintenance, preferably within a healthcare facility. The Electrical Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of all electrical systems and equipment within the hospital premises.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the electrical maintenance team.
• Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems, equipment, and infrastructure to identify and address any issues or potential hazards.
• Plan and schedule preventive maintenance tasks for electrical systems and equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot electrical problems and coordinate repairs and replacements as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, codes, and safety standards related to electrical systems and installations.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment inspections, and repairs.
• Coordinate with other departments and external contractors/vendors for specialized maintenance and repair services.
• Provide technical guidance and support to maintenance staff as needed.
• Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance technical knowledge and skills.
• Assist in the development of maintenance procedures, protocols, and safety guidelines.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in a hospital or healthcare facility.
• Proven leadership abilities with strong supervisory and organizational skills.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and components.
• Familiarity with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Valid UAE driving license and ability to travel as required.
