Job Description

An Ecommerce Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the online sales operations of an e-commerce business. They develop and execute strategies to drive online traffic and increase sales. Ecommerce Managers collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze performance metrics, and optimize the online store experience to achieve business objectives.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement online sales strategies and tactics.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the e-commerce website.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to drive online traffic and brand awareness.
  • Optimize website content, layout, and user experience to increase conversions.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track sales and customer behavior.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance the online store's performance.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated with industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Coordinate with logistics and customer service teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage relationships with external partners, such as payment gateways or fulfillment providers.
  • Stay updated with emerging e-commerce technologies and best practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in e-commerce management or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms and software (e.g., Shopify, Magento).
  • Familiarity with digital marketing strategies and customer acquisition techniques.
  • Analytical mindset and ability to interpret and act on performance data.
