Job Description
An Ecommerce Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the online sales operations of an e-commerce business. They develop and execute strategies to drive online traffic and increase sales. Ecommerce Managers collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze performance metrics, and optimize the online store experience to achieve business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement online sales strategies and tactics.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the e-commerce website.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to drive online traffic and brand awareness.
- Optimize website content, layout, and user experience to increase conversions.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track sales and customer behavior.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance the online store's performance.
- Conduct market research to stay updated with industry trends and competitor activities.
- Coordinate with logistics and customer service teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
- Manage relationships with external partners, such as payment gateways or fulfillment providers.
- Stay updated with emerging e-commerce technologies and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in e-commerce management or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms and software (e.g., Shopify, Magento).
- Familiarity with digital marketing strategies and customer acquisition techniques.
- Analytical mindset and ability to interpret and act on performance data.
