Drilling Supervisor

A Drilling Supervisor is responsible for overseeing drilling operations, ensuring safety procedures are followed, and achieving drilling targets efficiently. They manage drilling crews, equipment maintenance, and coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise drilling activities on site to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Monitor drilling progress and make adjustments to optimize performance.
• Coordinate with engineering teams to plan drilling strategies.
• Manage drilling personnel including training and development.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations during drilling operations.
• Analyze drilling data to make recommendations for improvements.
• Maintain records of drilling activities and report to management as needed.
• Troubleshoot drilling equipment issues and coordinate repairs.
• Implement cost-effective measures to improve drilling efficiency.
• Participate in safety meetings and conduct safety audits regularly.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in drilling operations, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of drilling techniques, equipment, and procedures.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage drilling teams effectively.
• Valid certifications in well control and other relevant areas.
