Delivery Driver

The Delivery Driver is responsible for transporting goods and products from a distribution center to customers' specified locations. They will operate delivery vehicles, ensure timely and safe delivery of goods, and provide excellent customer service. The Delivery Driver will also be responsible for maintaining delivery records, inspecting vehicles for maintenance, and following all traffic and safety regulations. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Load, transport, and unload goods and products in a safe and efficient manner.
• Plan delivery routes and follow schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
• Inspect delivery vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance.
• Observe all traffic and safety regulations during delivery operations.
• Provide excellent customer service and address customer concerns or inquiries.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain required signatures and documentation.
• Collaborate with warehouse and logistics team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Report any delivery or vehicle issues to the supervisor.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.
• Identify and recommend improvements to delivery processes and procedures.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Proven experience in delivery driving or a similar role.
• Excellent knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
