Daycare Teacher

The Daycare Teacher is responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for young children. They develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum, plan engaging activities, and promote children's social, emotional, and cognitive development. The Daycare Teacher also ensure the well-being of the children, including their health, safety, and hygiene. They collaborate with parents and maintain open communication to address any concerns or provide updates on the child's progress.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and lessons for young children.
• Create a safe and stimulating environment that fosters children's physical, social, and cognitive growth.
• Establish and maintain daily routines to ensure structure and consistency.
• Monitor and assess children's progress and provide feedback to parents.
• Foster positive relationships with children, promoting self-esteem and social skills.
• Collaborate with parents to address individual needs and discuss children's development and behavior.
• Ensure the health, safety, and hygiene of all children in the daycare.
• Administer first aid and manage minor injuries or illnesses, following proper protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of children's attendance, behavior, and developmental milestones.
• Attend professional development sessions and stay updated on best practices in early childhood education.

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• Relevant certification or license in Early Childhood Education.
• Proven experience working with young children in a daycare or preschool setting.
• Strong understanding of child development principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
