Crew Controller

The Crew Controller is responsible for coordinating the schedules and assignments of crew members for an airline. They monitor crew availability, assign flights, and ensure compliance with regulations and company policies. The Crew Controller should have strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Monitor crew availability and handle crewing requirements for assigned flights.
• Assign crew members to flights based on knowledge of regulations and company policies.
• Ensure crew schedules comply with duty and rest time regulations.
• Communicate flight details and assignments to crew members.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of crew assignments and availability.
• Collaborate with other departments to manage crew logistics, such as hotel accommodations.
• Coordinate with crew members to address scheduling conflicts or issues.
• Stay updated with industry regulations and changes in crewing requirements.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in crew scheduling or a similar role is preferred.
• Knowledge of aviation regulations and crew scheduling software.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
