Consultant Gastroenterologist

We are looking for a highly experienced and board-certified Consultant Gastroenterologist to join a reputed medical facility in the UAE. The ideal candidate will provide expert diagnosis and treatment of digestive system disorders, perform endoscopic procedures, and contribute to the highest standards of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat gastrointestinal and hepatic conditions.

• Perform endoscopic procedures including colonoscopies and upper GI endoscopies.

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on diagnostic findings.

• Collaborate with other specialists for comprehensive patient care.

• Maintain accurate and thorough medical records and documentation.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior medical staff and residents.

• Participate in medical audits, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Educate patients about conditions, treatment plans, and lifestyle modifications.

• Stay current with the latest advancements in gastroenterology.

• Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Medical degree with specialization in Gastroenterology.

• Valid UAE license or eligibility.

• Minimum 8–10 years of post-specialization clinical experience.

• Proficiency in performing GI procedures and interpreting diagnostic results.

• Strong communication and patient interaction skills.

• Commitment to evidence-based medicine and quality care standards.

• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
