We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Gastroenterologist to join our prestigious healthcare facility. Responsibilities

  • Diagnosing and treating disorders related to the gastrointestinal system, such as conditions affecting the esophagus, stomach, liver, intestines, and pancreas.
  • Performing endoscopic procedures including colonoscopy, gastroscopy, and sigmoidoscopy to investigate and treat digestive disorders.
  • Interpreting and analyzing diagnostic tests such as blood tests, imaging studies, and endoscopy results to make accurate diagnoses.
  • Developing treatment plans and providing compassionate care to patients with gastrointestinal issues.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as surgeons, radiologists, and oncologists, to coordinate patient care and treatment.
  • Monitoring and managing patients with chronic gastrointestinal conditions, such as inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome, and liver disease.
  • Conducting research and staying up-to-date with the latest advancements and treatment options in gastroenterology.
  • Educating patients on preventive measures and lifestyle modifications to promote gastrointestinal health.
  • Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and contributing expertise in the management of complex gastrointestinal cases.
  • Ensuring compliance with medical standards, protocols, and regulations to deliver high-quality care to patients.


Requirements

  • Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent)
  • Completion of a residency program in Internal Medicine
  • Fellowship training in Gastroenterology
  • Board certification in Gastroenterology
  • Valid medical license to practice
