We are a leading construction company with a focus on civil construction projects. Our company is committed to delivering high-quality projects that meet the needs of our clients while also maintaining a strong emphasis on safety and sustainability. We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Construction Manager with a background in civil construction to join our team.


Position Summary:

As the Construction Manager for our civil division, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects from start to finish. You will work closely with the project team to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards. Your role will involve providing leadership and direction to the project team, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers, and ensuring the highest level of safety and quality on every project.


Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and oversee all aspects of civil construction projects, including project planning, budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control

- Provide leadership and direction to the construction team, including project managers, site supervisors, and subcontractors

- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and within budget

- Monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring that costs are kept within budget and any potential issues are addressed in a timely manner

- Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring that they meet project specifications and are delivered on time

- Participate in project meetings and provide progress reports to senior management and clients

- Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures, and assist in the development of safety programs to minimize risks

- Manage relationships with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered to their satisfaction

- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, identify any potential issues, and implement corrective actions when necessary

- Conduct regular quality control inspections to ensure all work meets the company's standards and client expectations


Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role

- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple civil construction projects simultaneously

- Strong knowledge of construction methods, processes, and materials

- Solid understanding of safety and environmental regulations related to civil construction

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines

- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite

- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various project sites as needed
