Job Description
A Chiropractor is responsible for diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal conditions, particularly those affecting the spine. They use manual adjustments, spinal manipulations, and other techniques to provide relief from pain, improve mobility, and restore overall wellness. The Chiropractor also educates patients on preventive care and recommends lifestyle changes to support their healing process.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients through physical examinations, medical histories, and diagnostic tests.
- Diagnose musculoskeletal conditions, focusing on the spine and nervous system.
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
- Perform manual adjustments and other chiropractic techniques to relieve pain and improve functionality.
- Educate patients on stretching exercises, posture improvement, and lifestyle changes to support their recovery.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and timely documentation.
- Stay up to date with new treatment methods and advancements in chiropractic care.
Requirements
- Doctor of Chiropractic degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid licensure as a Chiropractor.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and chiropractic principles.
- Excellent manual dexterity.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
