Chemical Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct experiments and analyze data to develop and optimize chemical processes

- Design and implement new processes for the production of chemicals and materials

- Evaluate existing processes and make recommendations for improvements and cost-saving measures

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success and timely delivery of products

- Work with vendors to source and test new materials and equipment

- Troubleshoot process issues and propose solutions to increase efficiency and productivity

- Create and maintain detailed documentation and reports

- Stay updated with industry developments and advancements in technology to continuously improve processes and products

- Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations in the workplace

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in chemical process design and development

- Strong knowledge of chemical engineering principles, thermodynamics, and reaction kinetics

- Experience with Process Simulation software such as Aspen Plus or HYSYS

- Proficient in data analysis and technical report writing

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
