Cashier

As a Cashier, your primary responsibility will be to manage all transactions with customers accurately and efficiently. You will be responsible for handling cash, credit card, and other forms of payments while providing excellent customer service. In addition to processing transactions, you will also be expected to greet customers, answer their questions, and assist with any issues they may encounter. Attention to detail is crucial in this role as you will be responsible for reconciling cash drawers at the end of each shift. The ideal candidate for this position should have strong mathematical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in cash handling or customer service is preferred. Responsibilities

• Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions with customers.
• Scan items and ensure pricing is accurate.
• Issue receipts, refunds, and change to customers.
• Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas.
• Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information.
• Greet customers when entering or leaving establishment.
• Maintain accurate cash drawer balance.
• Keep reports of transactions.
• Recommend and promote products based on customer needs.
• Follow all store procedures and policies regarding cash handling.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred.
