CAD Draughtsman (Infrastructure)

We are hiring a skilled CAD Draughtsman specializing in infrastructure projects to support our engineering team in the UAE. This role involves preparing detailed design and construction drawings for roads, utilities, drainage, and other civil infrastructure works.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate CAD drawings for infrastructure projects including roads, utilities, and drainage systems.

• Interpret civil engineering designs, specifications, and survey data.

• Collaborate with engineers to revise drawings based on feedback or site modifications.

• Maintain drawing logs, filing systems, and version control.

• Ensure compliance with project standards, guidelines, and local authority regulations.

• Assist in the preparation of as-built drawings and documentation.

• Conduct drawing quality checks to avoid errors and ensure accuracy.

• Coordinate with design teams and site personnel for drawing clarifications.

• Convert sketches and markups into final construction-ready formats.

• Support tender submissions with required design documentation.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or Drafting Technology.

• Minimum 3–5 years of UAE experience in infrastructure or civil engineering drafting.

• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other design software.

• Familiarity with local authority (e.g., RTA, ADM, DM) CAD standards.

• Strong attention to detail and technical drawing accuracy.

• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.
