Job Description
A Biomedical Engineer applies engineering principles and techniques to the field of medicine. They design and develop medical equipment, devices, and software to improve healthcare. Biomedical Engineers work closely with medical professionals to understand their needs and create innovative solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop medical devices and equipment.
- Conduct research to solve clinical problems and improve patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to identify their needs.
- Evaluate the safety and effectiveness of medical devices.
- Create models and prototypes using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software.
- Test and analyze the performance of biomedical equipment.
- Develop software for medical devices or related applications.
- Stay updated on advancements and regulations in the biomedical field.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a vocational program in elevator repair or a related field.
- Relevant certification or license required.
- Strong knowledge of elevator components and systems.
- Experience in troubleshooting and repairing elevator malfunctions.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in confined spaces.
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
