Job Description

A BIM Manager is responsible for overseeing the implementation and management of Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes within construction and design projects. This role involves coordinating teams, ensuring BIM standards are followed, and integrating digital workflows to improve project efficiency. The ideal candidate will have expertise in BIM technologies, model coordination, and a deep understanding of architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry practices.


Responsibilities:

  • develop and implement BIM standards, protocols, and workflows across projects

  • manage BIM execution plans and ensure compliance with industry best practices

  • oversee model coordination, clash detection, and resolution among multiple disciplines

  • provide technical support and training to project teams on BIM software and methodologies

  • ensure data accuracy and quality control of BIM models throughout the project lifecycle

  • collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to streamline design and construction processes

  • lead BIM meetings and coordinate model integration with stakeholders

  • stay updated with emerging BIM technologies and recommend innovative solutions

  • manage BIM documentation, libraries, and templates for consistency

  • support project delivery by integrating BIM with project scheduling, costing, and facility management systems


Requirements:

  • bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or a related field

  • minimum 5-7 years of experience in BIM management, coordination, or implementation

  • proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and Dynamo

  • experience with clash detection, 4D/5D BIM integration, and model-based cost estimation

  • strong knowledge of international BIM standards (ISO 19650, PAS 1192)

  • excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

  • knowledge of scripting and automation (Python, Dynamo, or Grasshopper) is a plus

  • experience in implementing Common Data Environments (CDE) for BIM workflows
