Job Description

As a BIM (Building Information Modeling) Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of BIM technology on various construction projects. Your role will involve developing BIM standards and protocols, coordinating with project teams to ensure BIM compliance, and providing training and support to team members on BIM software and processes. You will also be in charge of managing BIM models, conducting clash detection, and facilitating the exchange of BIM data between different stakeholders. Additionally, you will play a key role in utilizing BIM to enhance project efficiency, accuracy, and collaboration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architecture or engineering, extensive experience with BIM software such as Revit and Navisworks, and excellent communication and leadership skills.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement BIM standards, protocols, and workflows for project execution.
  • Manage the BIM coordination process across multiple disciplines to resolve clashes and conflicts.
  • Oversee the creation, maintenance, and management of 3D models and databases for projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure BIM requirements are met.
  • Train and mentor team members on BIM software applications and best practices.
  • Conduct regular quality checks and audits on BIM deliverables to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for BIM software and systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in BIM technology.
  • Monitor project timelines and budgets related to BIM implementation and usage.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners regarding BIM processes and deliverables.
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Certification in Building Information Modeling (BIM) software such as Revit, AutoCAD, or Navisworks.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in BIM coordination and project management.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage a team and collaborate with stakeholders effectively.
