Job Description
A Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving beverages to guests in a bar or restaurant. They create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere by providing excellent customer service and showcasing their mixology skills. Bartenders are also knowledgeable about a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
Responsibilities
- Greet and interact with customers in a friendly manner.
- Take and process drink orders, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic.
- Prepare and serve beverages according to recipes and customer preferences.
- Ensure that the bar area is clean and well-stocked at all times.
- Check identification to verify the legal drinking age of customers.
- Upsell and promote drink specials or new menu items.
- Handle cash transactions and operate a cash register.
- Maintain knowledge of liquor laws and regulations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an electrical apprenticeship program or relevant vocational training.
- Journeyman or master electrician license required.
- Knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and electrical schematics.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various locations and conditions.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
