Auto Denter

We are currently seeking a skilled Auto Denter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for repairing and reshaping damaged vehicle body parts. Duties include assessing damaged vehicles, using specialized tools and equipment to straighten and restore body panels, and ensuring all repairs meet quality standards. The Auto Denter will work closely with other members of the automotive repair team to accurately diagnose issues and efficiently repair vehicles. The successful candidate should have a strong attention to detail, possess excellent hand-eye coordination, and demonstrate proficiency in using a variety of tools and techniques for metalworking. Responsibilities

• Examine damaged vehicles and assess the extent of necessary repair work.
• Use hand and power tools to repair dents, remove panels, and realign frames.
• Repair or replace damaged vehicle parts, including fenders, doors, and bumpers.
• Sand, prime, and paint repaired surfaces to match the rest of the vehicle.
• Ensure all repairs are completed according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
• Perform quality control checks to verify repairs have been done correctly.
• Communicate effectively with customers to explain repair options and provide estimates.
• Keep work area clean and organized to maintain a safe and efficient workspace.
• Use measuring equipment and alignment tools to ensure precision in repairs.
• Enforce safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injury in the workplace.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Vocational training or certification in auto body repair
• Proven experience as an auto denter or similar role
• Strong attention to detail and precision in work
• Knowledge of various tools and equipment used in auto body repair workshops
