Assistant Sustainability Consultant

As an Assistant Sustainability Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting sustainability initiatives within organizations. Your responsibilities will include conducting research on sustainability practices, analyzing data to identify opportunities for improvement, and assisting in the development of sustainability strategies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainable practices into business operations, and provide recommendations for reducing environmental impact. Additionally, you will help in monitoring and reporting on sustainability performance metrics, as well as staying current on industry trends and best practices. The ideal candidate must have a passion for sustainability, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders. A degree in environmental science, sustainability, or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support senior sustainability consultants in conducting sustainability assessments and audits.
• Assist in the development and implementation of sustainability strategies and action plans.
• Research and analyze data related to environmental and social impacts.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations based on findings and analysis.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to collect information and data.
• Participate in sustainability projects and initiatives to promote sustainable practices.
• Monitor and track progress of sustainability goals and targets.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in sustainability.
• Assist in communicating sustainability initiatives internally and externally.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of sustainability practices within the organization.

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or related field
• Strong understanding of sustainability principles, practices, and standards
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting
• Experience with sustainability reporting frameworks such as GRI or CDP
