Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Manager to support our Logistics department. The ideal candidate will assist in managing all aspects of logistics operations to ensure timely and efficient transportation of goods. Responsibilities include coordinating and monitoring supply chain operations, overseeing inventory management, scheduling shipments, and collaborating with internal teams to optimize processes. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, analyzing data to improve logistics performance, and resolving any issues that may arise. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this role. Responsibilities

  • - Oversee daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient utilization of space and resources - Coordinate logistics activities, such as shipping, receiving, and inventory control - Develop and implement strategies to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce costs - Analyze data and provide regular reports on key performance indicators to senior management - Monitor and enforce compliance with all regulatory requirements regarding transportation and logistics - Train and supervise warehouse staff to ensure they are performing their duties effectively - Resolve any issues or delays in the transportation of goods to ensure on-time delivery to customers - Collaborate with external vendors and carriers to negotiate contracts and optimize logistics services - Implement safety procedures and protocols to maintain a secure working environment in the warehouse - Continuously evaluate and recommend process improvements to enhance logistics operations and productivity.
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or relevant field.
  • Proven experience working in logistics and supply chain management roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics software.
