Job Description
The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. They will support the finance department in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Responsibilities
- Record daily financial transactions, including purchases, sales, and expenses.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Handle bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Assist with financial analysis and variance reporting.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with accounting policies.
- Collaborate with external auditors during year-end audits.
Requirements
- Proven work experience as an accountant or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
