Chemist

The Chemist is responsible for conducting qualitative and quantitative chemical analyses or experiments in laboratories for quality control, research, and product development. This role plays a key part in ensuring products meet regulatory and safety standards, as well as innovating new formulas and compounds.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform laboratory tests to analyze chemical compounds and substances.

• Develop and improve chemical manufacturing processes and product formulations.

• Interpret and document test results, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.

• Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment.

• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as R&D, production, and quality assurance.

• Prepare technical reports, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and regulatory documentation.

• Troubleshoot issues related to raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related scientific field (Master’s preferred for senior roles).

• Proven experience working in a laboratory or industrial setting.

• Strong understanding of analytical techniques such as GC, HPLC, spectroscopy, and titration.

• Knowledge of chemical safety and handling protocols.

• Attention to detail and ability to work with precision.

• Excellent documentation and communication skills.

• Proficiency in using laboratory software and Microsoft Office applications.
