Job Summary:
The Real Estate Valuation Manager is responsible for overseeing and conducting property valuations for various
purposes, including financial reporting, sales, acquisitions, and investment decisions. The role requires ensuring
accuracy, compliance with industry standards, and adherence to regulatory requirements, while leading a team
of valuers and managing client relationships. By delivering high-quality valuations and fostering trust with
clients, the Real Estate Valuation Manager plays a crucial role in helping the organization achieve its strategic
goals and enhancing the company's brand reputation and services in the real estate market.
Responsibilities and duties
1. Valuation Management:
o Conduct detailed valuations of residential, commercial, and industrial properties.
o Oversee the preparation of valuation reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with
international standards (e.g., IVS, RICS) and local standards TAQEEM.
o Provide expert opinions on property market trends and asset values.
2. Team Leadership:
o Supervise and guide a team of valuation professionals.
o Review and approve valuation reports prepared by team members.
o Conduct training sessions to enhance the team's skills and knowledge.
o Prepare all requirement to meet any Bid for government and local and track the bid till success.
o Lead the team to keep QIMA portal up to date ( monitor, update, upload reports ,,, )
o Maintain professional licenses for individual valuers are valid
3. Client and Stakeholder Relations:
o Manage client relationships, addressing inquiries and ensuring satisfaction.
o Liaise with banks, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies for valuation compliance.
o Prepare presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
o Drive business development efforts to bring in new clients, expand revenue streams, and
increase overall profitability.
4. Compliance and Standards:
o Ensure all valuations meet local and international regulatory requirements.
o Stay updated on changes in real estate valuation laws and practices.
o Implement quality assurance processes to maintain high standards.
o All regulatory standards and requirements must be addressed and incorporated into all internal
processes and external operations.
5. Market Research and Analysis:
o Analyze market conditions to forecast property trends.
o Use data to advise clients on investment opportunities and risks.
o Monitor competitor practices to ensure the company’s valuations remain competitive.
Operational Excellence:
o Follow company policies and procedures, suggest refinement and develop necessary
templates.
o Manage the department's budget and resource allocation efficiently.
o Report regularly on the department's performance and project progress.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
- Member of the Saudi Authority for Accredited Valuers.
- Member of MRICS.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in real estate valuation, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in valuation software and tools. Strong knowledge of financial modeling and data analysis.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
