Assistant Resident Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Resident Engineer to support the Resident Engineer in overseeing construction projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications,

quality standards, and project timelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, construction management, and site supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Resident Engineer in managing and supervising construction activities on-site.
• Ensure projects adhere to approved designs, specifications, and safety regulations.
• Monitor and inspect construction progress, identifying and resolving technical issues.
• Review and approve contractor’s work, materials, and methodologies.
• Conduct site inspections, quality control checks, and progress reporting.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.
• Provide technical guidance and problem-solving assistance to the construction team.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
• Prepare and maintain documentation, reports, and project records.
• Assist in managing contractual and financial aspects of the project.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in construction supervision and engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and site management.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Primavera, MS Project, and other relevant engineering software.
• Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams.

• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
