Job Description

The Senior Sales Account Manager is responsible for managing and expanding a portfolio of high-value client accounts. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong relationship management skills and the ability to drive revenue growth through effective sales planning and execution. The manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction, deliver tailored solutions, and exceed sales targets. This position involves identifying new business opportunities, negotiating contracts, and maintaining long-term relationships with key decision-makers. A successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the market, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in B2B sales or account management.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key accounts

  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all client account management matters

  • Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and actively pursue upselling and cross-selling opportunities

  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits while ensuring client satisfaction

  • Prepare regular reports on account status, forecasts, and pipeline updates

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product, and customer support, to deliver customized solutions

  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of products and services according to client needs and objectives

  • Address client concerns and resolve issues promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction

  • Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments

  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, account management, or a related role

  • Proven ability to manage multiple accounts while maintaining attention to detail

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Strong analytical and organizational abilities

  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Results-driven with a focus on achieving sales targets and KPIs

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholders

  • Flexibility to travel for client meetings and business development activities
