The Senior Sales Account Manager is responsible for managing and expanding a portfolio of high-value client accounts. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong relationship management skills and the ability to drive revenue growth through effective sales planning and execution. The manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction, deliver tailored solutions, and exceed sales targets. This position involves identifying new business opportunities, negotiating contracts, and maintaining long-term relationships with key decision-makers. A successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the market, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in B2B sales or account management.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key accounts
Serve as the lead point of contact for all client account management matters
Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and actively pursue upselling and cross-selling opportunities
Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits while ensuring client satisfaction
Prepare regular reports on account status, forecasts, and pipeline updates
Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product, and customer support, to deliver customized solutions
Ensure the timely and successful delivery of products and services according to client needs and objectives
Address client concerns and resolve issues promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, account management, or a related role
Proven ability to manage multiple accounts while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and organizational abilities
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
Results-driven with a focus on achieving sales targets and KPIs
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Strong presentation skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholders
Flexibility to travel for client meetings and business development activities
