Job Description

A Medical Representative plays a crucial role in promoting and selling pharmaceutical products and medical equipment to healthcare professionals. They act as a liaison between medical companies and healthcare providers, ensuring that their products are well understood and effectively used. This position requires strong sales skills, in-depth knowledge of medical products, and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients such as doctors, pharmacists, and hospital staff.


Responsibilities:

  • Promote and sell medical products or devices to healthcare professionals including doctors, pharmacists, and hospitals

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients

  • Organize appointments and meetings with healthcare professionals to present product information

  • Conduct product demonstrations and explain the benefits and proper usage

  • Keep detailed records of all sales activities, client interactions, and feedback

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and business objectives

  • Attend medical conferences, seminars, and training sessions to stay updated on industry trends

  • Monitor competitor activities and report market intelligence to management

  • Coordinate with supply chain and delivery teams to ensure timely product availability

  • Provide after-sales support and handle any product-related concerns or queries from clients


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related field

  • Previous experience in medical or pharmaceutical sales is an advantage

  • Strong understanding of medical terminology and the healthcare industry

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to travel frequently to meet clients and attend industry events

  • Target-driven with a proactive and results-oriented approach

  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities

  • Familiarity with CRM software and reporting tools

  • Valid driver’s license may be required for field visits

  • Professional appearance and a confident, trustworthy demeanor
