Job Description

The Lighting Sales Engineer is responsible for promoting and selling lighting products to clients. They provide technical expertise and guidance to help clients choose the right lighting solutions to meet their needs. Lighting Sales Engineers build and maintain relationships with clients and collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.


Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell lighting products to clients.
  • Understand client needs and provide technical expertise to recommend appropriate lighting solutions.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement sales strategies and targets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients to understand their evolving needs.
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals and quotes to clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and installation of lighting products.
  • Provide post-sales support, including troubleshooting and resolving customer issues.
  • Stay updated on lighting industry trends, product developments, and competitor activities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience in lighting sales or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of lighting products, technologies, and applications.
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical clients.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel for client visits and industry events.
