Lift Technician

We are seeking a skilled Lift Technician to install, maintain, and repair elevators, escalators, and moving walkways. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise, troubleshooting abilities, and experience working with various lift systems. This role involves ensuring the safety, functionality, and compliance of lift operations in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.

Responsibilities:

• install, inspect, and test new lift systems according to safety and operational guidelines
• perform routine maintenance, servicing, and troubleshooting to prevent breakdowns
• diagnose and repair faults in electrical and mechanical components of elevators and escalators
• respond to emergency service calls and resolve issues promptly to minimize downtime
• ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and manufacturer guidelines
• conduct safety inspections and performance tests to guarantee operational efficiency
• replace or repair defective parts, wiring, and control panels as needed
• keep detailed records of maintenance work, inspections, and repairs performed
• provide guidance and training to junior technicians or apprentices when required
• liaise with clients and building management to address concerns and ensure customer satisfaction

Requirements:

• diploma or technical certification in mechanical, electrical, or lift technology
• proven experience as a lift technician or elevator mechanic in installation, maintenance, or repair
• strong understanding of lift mechanics, electrical systems, and control panels
• ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics
• knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards for lift operations
• problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or within a team
• physically fit and comfortable working at heights or in confined spaces
• valid UAE driving license is an advantage
• flexible to work shifts, including weekends and emergency call-outs
