The HR Specialist is responsible for managing various human resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labor laws. This role requires a deep understanding of HR policies and procedures, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to support the overall HR strategy of the organization. The ideal candidate should be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple HR tasks efficiently while ensuring a positive employee experience.
Responsibilities:
manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding new hires
handle employee relations, addressing concerns and resolving workplace conflicts professionally
assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labor laws and company guidelines
oversee performance management processes, including employee evaluations and development plans
maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth
support payroll processing by ensuring accurate timesheets, leave records, and employee benefits administration
conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to improve employee retention strategies
collaborate with department managers to identify workforce needs and develop talent acquisition strategies
stay updated on labor laws, HR trends, and best practices to ensure legal compliance and enhance HR efficiency
Requirements:
bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field
3+ years of experience in HR functions, preferably in the UAE
strong knowledge of labor laws, HR policies, and best practices
excellent communication and interpersonal skills
ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office applications
high level of discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information
fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage
certification in HR (CIPD, SHRM, or equivalent) is a plus
