Electrical and Instrumentation Supervisor

Job Description:

The Electrical and Instrumentation Supervisor will oversee a team of technicians responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing electrical systems and instrumentation equipment. They will ensure that all work is performed safely and in compliance with regulations and company policies. The supervisor will also be responsible for scheduling and coordinating maintenance activities, troubleshooting issues, and providing technical guidance to the team.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise a team of technicians in performing electrical and instrumentation maintenance and repairs
• Ensure work is carried out safely and in compliance with regulations
• Schedule and coordinate maintenance activities
• Troubleshoot issues with electrical and instrumentation systems
• Provide technical guidance and training to team members
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient operation of electrical and instrumentation systems

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation maintenance
• Previous experience in a supervisory role preferred
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation equipment, and relevant regulations
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Relevant certification or degree in electrical engineering or a related field
