Data Cabling Engineer

The Data Cabling Engineer is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting data cabling systems. They work on both copper and fiber optic cables to provide reliable and high-speed connectivity for network infrastructures. The Data Cabling Engineer must be familiar with industry standards and best practices for cabling installations. They should have knowledge of various cabling technologies, including Ethernet, LAN, and WAN. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a team are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Install and terminate data cabling systems based on project requirements.
• Test and certify data cabling installations to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Troubleshoot and rectify any issues with existing cabling infrastructure.

• Diploma or degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a relevant field.
• Proven experience as a Data Cabling Engineer or in a similar role.
