Senior Procurement Engineer(Construction)

The Senior Procurement Engineer is responsible for managing the procurement and purchasing activities for construction projects. This includes sourcing and evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies in line with project requirements and timelines.
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, ensuring they meet quality and delivery standards.
• Negotiate and establish contracts and purchase agreements with suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular evaluations to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
• Coordinate with project teams to identify and prioritize procurement needs.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and delivery schedules.
• Forecast and monitor project costs related to procurement activities.
• Resolve any disputes or issues that may arise with suppliers.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in procurement and purchasing, especially in construction projects.
