Job Description

The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, logistics, inventory control, and vendor management, within UAE-based organizations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring timely availability of products, cost-efficiency, and compliance with UAE import/export laws and regulatory standards. Operating in sectors such as retail, healthcare, manufacturing, or construction, the manager will lead cross-functional teams to enhance supply chain performance and support strategic business goals.


Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing supply chain strategies that align with organizational goals and UAE regulatory requirements.

  • Managing procurement activities, negotiating contracts, and maintaining strong relationships with local and international suppliers.

  • Overseeing logistics operations, including warehousing, transportation, and customs clearance, to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.

  • Monitoring and optimizing inventory levels to balance availability and cost, using demand forecasting and stock analysis.

  • Coordinating with internal departments such as finance, operations, and sales to streamline supply chain processes.

  • Ensuring full compliance with UAE laws on import/export, product labeling, customs duties, and health and safety standards.

  • Identifying risks, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies in the supply chain and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Utilizing ERP and supply chain management systems to track performance, generate reports, and support decision-making.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.

  • Minimum of 6–8 years of experience in supply chain or logistics management, with at least 3 years in a managerial role in the UAE.

  • Strong knowledge of UAE trade regulations, customs procedures, and supply chain compliance requirements.

  • Proven ability to manage large-scale procurement and distribution operations across multiple locations.

  • Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and negotiation skills.

  • Strong leadership and communication abilities to manage cross-functional teams and external partners.

  • Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage, especially for dealing with local authorities and vendors.
